Special: Here's the fourth part of our look back on our Favorite Games of 2009.

Street Fighter IV
Platforms: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
Publisher: Capcom
Developer Dimps
Release Date: February 17, 2009

Street Fighter II is one of those games that everyone of a certain age looks back fondly on. And even though I was a Mortal Kombat man, I still performed my share of Flash Kicks with Guile and Hadokens with Ryu. Eighteen years later, Capcom has recreated and reenvisioned that game with a modern look and classic gameplay. Welcome back Street Fighter, we missed you. - John Scalzo

UFC 2009 Undisputed
Platforms: PS3, Xbox 360
Publisher: THQ
Developer Yukes
Release Date: May 19, 2009

"Ultimate Fighting makes for a great video game. Well, now it does. The past three UFC games on PS2 and the original Xbox were mediocre at best and, because they released over five years ago and sold little, you probably haven't played them. Even if you have, don't let them dissuade you from trying out UFC 2009 Undisputed for [PS3/Xbox 360]. The license to the world's largest MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) organization landed in the competent hands of publisher THQ and renowned wrestling game developer Yukes Osaka. You know them from their WWE Smackdown series, but they amp up the realism in this game for a fighter that's as authentic as it is complex." - Matt Swider

Wii Sports Resort
Platforms: Wii
Publisher: Nintendo
Developer Nintendo
Release Date: July 26, 2009

How do you follow up one of the most beloved pack-in games of all time? You put out a bigger and better sequel and pack that in with a new peripheral that changes the way people look at your system. Honestly, battling it out in Sword Play will never get old. - John

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Uncaged Edition)
Platforms: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
Publisher: Activision
Developer Raven Software
Release Date: May 1, 2009

"While X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not a perfect game, Raven can easily lay claim to having created the best game ever starring Wolverine. The action is a tad repetitive, but it also perfectly nails Wolverine as a character. From the beautifully cinematic presentation to the moments that just make you say "Wow!", the game's high octane action will make fans of the X-Men, and action gamers in general, very happy." - John Scalzo
