News: The next Sonic game will finally get a name.

According to the Sega America Blog, the next Sonic the Hedgehog game will not be known by the Project Needlemouse codename much longer. Sega is running a new Community Challenge on the blog and has announced that if they receive 100 pieces of fanmade concept art, they'll reveal the game's true title. In addition, they will also unveil concept from the first Zone and a "very cool extra bonus".

The best part is that since the contest was posted on Wednesday, more than 100 pieces of concept art (it's actually closer to 200) have flooded the comment section of the Sega America Blog. So the name will definitely be announced sometime next week.

And to help celebrate this momentous occasion, Sega has released the second piece of official concept art from Project Needlemouse, which you can see right here:

We'll have more on Project Needlemouse, a 2D Sonic game that Sega promises will return to the franchise's roots, very soon.
