News: THQ CEO Brian Farrell wants everyone to know that THQ is working on a lot of games.

THQ President and CEO Brian Farrell laid out the company's plans for the next two years during their quarterly financial report yesterday. In a rapid fire presentation, Farrell revealed more than a dozen different games that THQ has in development, including a bunch of never-before-announced sequels to some of THQ's biggest franchises.

Farrell announced that THQ plans to release the following games during their 2011 fiscal year (which runs from April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011):

  • Homefront (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) - First person shooter developed by Kaos Studio and written by John Milius (Red Dawn).

  • Red Faction 4 - "Building on their innovative destruction engine, our team at Volition is delivering a quality sequel in the Red Faction universe that will include robust online gameplay. We look forward to showing you why we are excited about these games at E3 this June."

  • UFC 2010 Undisputed (PS3, PSP, Xbox 360) - Ultimate fighting sequel scheduled for a May 25 release.
  • The Last Airbender - Live-action movie tie-in game, July.
  • MegaMind - DreamWorks movie tie-in game, November.
  • Marvel Super Hero Squad 2 - TV series tie-in game, release TBA.
  • Penguins of Madagascar - Nickelodeon TV series tie-in game, release TBA.
  • The Biggest Loser 2 (Wii) - TV series tie-in game, release TBA.
  • Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune (DS, Wii) - TV series tie-in games, release TBA.
  • WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 - Annual update to their WWE series, scheduled for a holiday release

Finally, Farrell revealed that fan favorite De Blob will be getting a sequel sometime in 2010.

Farrell went on to reveal several games that THQ has in development for release in their 2012 fiscal year (which runs from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012). These games include Darksiders 2, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, Saints Row 3, Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom (July 2011) and Puss in Boots: Story of an Ogre Killer (November 2011).

Wow, that is a huge list of games and we'll have more on all of them soon.
