News: Thought you'd find out when Crackdown 2 was coming? Think again.

Microsoft's X10 event in San Francisco today was invite-only. Thankfully, Major Nelson has come through a heaping helping of X10 news including release dates for some of this year's biggest Xbox 360 titles.

After announcing release dates for Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, the Halo: Reach beta and Alan Wake, it's tempting to ask, what else you got? Sadly, Microsoft couldn't come up with any new release dates as all of the other games on hand at X10 have the same release dates today as they did yesterday. In order, they are:

  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction, from Ubisoft, will be released on April 13.
  • Lost Planet 2, from Capcom, will be released on May 18 (the same day as Alan Wake).
  • Crackdown 2, from Ruffian Games, was said to be releasing "later this year".
  • And Fable III, from Peter Molyneaux and his Lionhead Studios, is still on track for a Fall 2010 release.

We'll have more from X10 soon.
