News: New Super Mario Bros. Wii takes the top spot again.



The NPD Group has released their report on the bestselling games and consoles in January and, once again, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is the game to beat. Gamers have really taken to Mario's first side-scrolling adventure on a console in nearly twenty years to the tune of 656,700 copies sold in its third month of availability.

A variety of January releases dotted the top ten including Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360) at #2, Army of Two: The 40th Day (Xbox 360) at #8 and Darksiders (Xbox 360) at #10.



Here's the full list of the ten bestselling games in the month and the console sales numbers:
