THQ has finally revealed the purpose behind the mysterious promo code that was included with every copy of last month's Darksiders. By visiting the THQ Store at the links below, gamers can use it to obtain a free copy of Red Faction: Guerrilla and a Digital Hellbook disc filled with Darksiders art, videos, and other content.

The offer is good from now until March 7, 2010.

If all of the game's positive reviews have still left you unsure as to whether or not Darksiders is worth $60, THQ has also announced that an extensive 90-minute demo of the game will be added to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on February 25.

The demo will actually include the entire first dungeon from the game, the Twilight Cathedral. There, players will go mano-a-mano against "the monstrous demon Jailer and the savage bat-winged Tiamat."
