News: More Mortal Kombat 9 details slip out into the world.

By searching through resumes and news articles related to the Mortal Kombat voice cast, TRMK has managed to uncover a bunch of details about the upcoming Mortal Kombat 9 and a possible official announcement in April.

While looking through resumes of previous MK perfromers, TRMK has discovered that Dana Lyn Baron, Brenda Barrie and Sorin Brouwers are all involved in Mortal Kombat 9. Baron was the voice of Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe while Barrie provided the motion-capture Catwoman and Wonder Woman. Barrie's resume entry for MK9 has her playing Kitana.

Brouwers is also a motion-capture performer and he played Scorpion in MKvsDC. While this isn't confirmation that Scorpion is involved in MK9, the mere fact there'll be an MK9 is practically confirmation Scorpion will be involved.

Further inspection of Baron and Barrie's resumes also reveal a release date for Mortal Kombat 9 of December 25, 2010 (obviously a placeholder, but "Holiday 2010" is a pretty solid date at this point) and a possible official announcement coming in April.

Sadly, all of this information has been removed from the online resumes of Baron, Barrie and Brouwers. But thanks to TRMK for doing the leg work to give us a small glimpse at what Mortal Kombat 9 may look like.

We'll have more soon.
