News: Vancouver Canucks forward gets the nod from 2K.

Vancouver Canucks forwrd Ryan Kesler, who 2K Sports refers to as "a vital member of the upstart 2010 U.S. Olympic hockey team", has been chosen by the company to be the cover athlete for NHL 2K11. The game will be available exclusively on the Wii this Fall.
УHaving the opportunity to participate in the Olympics and play in front of my home crowd was one of the best experiences of my life. To now be chosen as the next cover athlete for NHL 2K11 is another dream come true,Ф said Kesler, alternate captain for the Vancouver Canucks. УIt was awesome to work with 2K Sports last year on the NHL 2K10 commercial shoot and the outdoor motion capture session on the Las Vegas strip was incredible to be a part of. I'm looking forward to having just as much fun again, and helping them make another great hockey game this year.Ф
2K didn't have much else to say about the game, but in addition to the Wii version, developer Visual Concepts is working on a PS3/Xbox 360 version of NHL 2K12. They plan to use the extended development time to make the game better than ever.
We'll have more soon.
