News: Retro platforming and card battling, today on the PSN.

A few hours ahead of the weekly PlayStation Store update, Sony has announced that Mega Man 10 and The Eye of Judgment: Legends will be released this week.

Mega Man 10 is the retro-styled latest release in the long-running Mega Man series. Originally released on the WiiWare service last week, the blue bomber's latest platforming adventure will debut on the PlayStation 3 three weeks before its release on the Xbox Live Arcade. The game will be available to download for $9.99.

The Eye of Judgment: Legends is the PSP sequel to the PlayStation Eye-enabled card battling RPG Eye of Judgment. Appearing exclusively on the PSP section of the PlayStation Store, Legends will also be available to download today for $29.99.

Using the PSP's Infrastructure Mode, Sony plans to offer global tournaments for Eye of Judgment: Legends, with the first beginning today:

See if you have what it takes to rank among the top players in the world, and observe battle tactics from other players you challenge that may improve your skills for future tournaments. The first tournament will be held today at 7:00 PM PST, and last until March 18 1:00 AM PST. This will be a great warm-up to the many strategies and approaches to card battles. To even the field, Ultra Rare cards will be restricted from the first tournament.

Finally, Sony has posted a new trailer for the game on the PlayStation.Blog, which you can check out right here:
