News: Kratos commands the new releases this week because he is the God of War.
If you're a PlayStation 3 owner, there is only chaos in this week's batch of new releases as God of War III will make its way to store shelves this week. If the finale of the God of War trilogy isn't your idea of a good game, a variety of publishers have attempted to counterprogram Kratos' latest adventure with a new first person shooter, the conclusion to a long-running RTS series and several different RPGs:
Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight (PC) is purported to be the final episode in the "Tiberian Saga" as EA promises one epic final battle against Kane.
A quartet of RPGs will also vie for gamer's attention this week including Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), the first expansion to BioWare's Dragon Age; Resonance of Fate (PS3, Xbox 360), a new RPG from Tri-Ace; Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon (Wii), a new RPG from Namco Bandai; and Infinite Space, the first RPG and first DS game from Platinum Games (the team behind Bayonetta and MadWorld).
Finally, THQ plans to bring Metro 2033, a first person shooter based on a popular Russian novel, to the PC and Xbox 360 this week.
