Castlevania Rondo of Blood, Rage of the Gladiator added to Wii Shop @ Gaming Target

News: Kill mythical beasts in two different games this week.

Castlevania: Rondo of Blood was originally released on the TurboGrafx-16 in 1993 and is one of the few Castlevania titles never to make it to America in its original form (a PSP remake was eventually released a few years ago). Today, it makes it to the Virtual Console in the untranslated original Japanese, but don't worry, you won't need to know Japanese to enjoy it.

Also available this week is Ghostfire Games' fantasy-styled take on Punch-Out!!, Rage of the Gladiator. It will joined by another WiiWare title, Triple Shot Sports, a light gun shooter.

The DSiWare Shop was also updated with a handful of new released including Zoo Frenzy, a zoo management sim; 101 MiniGolf World, a miniture golf game; Battle of Giants: Dinosaurs Ц Fight For Survival, a dinosaur battling game; and Car Jack Streets, a for reals crime simulation.

Triple Shot Sports is one of the most advanced recreational shooting games available for the WiiWare service, immersing players in the world of competitive target shooting. Most competitive events consist of activities that are traditionally derived from hunting and combat skills. Over time, these practices have evolved into a variety of competitive sports that include Archery, Pistol Shooting and Free Rifle. As with real-life shooting events, you will have full control over the aim of the weapon. You must also account for prevailing weather conditions and the athlete's breathing pattern, as these factors can influence the accuracy of your shot.
