News: Get ready to play Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days during the dog days of Summer.
Another release date has been confirmed today as developer IO Interactive announced that Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days would be released for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on August 24 (with a European/UK release on August 27).
The team behind the Hitman franchise has found inspiration for Kane & Lynch 2 in the shifting camerawork and gritty filmstock of documentary filmmakers:

IO's game follows Kane, a tactical but disillusioned and desperate ex-mercenary, and Lynch, an impulsive and reckless self-medicated psychopath, through 48 hours in Shanghai. Not surprisngly, the company has titled the game's latest trailer "Welcome to Shanghai". The trailer, which contains the first gameplay footage, is now available at KaneandLynch.com.
