News: Why should you read this list of this week's releases? Just Cause!

The mad month of March is nearing its end as a handful of big releases make their way to store shelves next week. The biggest is definitely Nintendo's 93% bigger DSi XL system. In addition to the size increase, it will come in two different colors, burgundy or bronze, and feature several pre-installed DSiWare games.

It will be joined by two new Nintendo-published DS games, the microgames collection WarioWare D.I.Y. and the recipe organizer America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get Cooking.

Other new releases this week include:

  • Square Enix begins dipping into the Eidos Interactive with the open world game Just Cause 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360).
  • Ubisoft will release the MotionPlus-enabled first person shooter/swordfighter sequel Red Steel 2 (Wii).
  • Capcom will release the latest game in their motorcycle racing series, MotoGP 09/10 (PS3, Xbox 360).
  • Speaking of long-running franchises, Atlus will release the RPG Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey (DS) next week.
  • And finally, Activision's adaptation of the Dreamworks movie How to Train Your Dragon will hit the DS, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360.
