News: And one might even be released in 2010.

Square Enix will release the Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Ultimania guidebook in Japanese bookstores today. In addition to covering every corner of the first Kingdom Hearts game on the PSP, the Ultimania also includes an interview with series director Tetsuya Nomura.

Translated by Kingdom Hearts fansite HeartStation.org, the interview includes confirmation that development on Kingdom Hearts 3 has begun and that two other KH titles are also in the works, with one planned for 2010!

УAbout the next title, Kingdom Hearts 3 depends on [Final Fantasy Versus XIII], but development of the next title is already underway. There are two titles other than Kingdom Hearts 3 in conception, and I think I'll release one within this year.Ф

УAs from next year, I want to put out a title with multiple main characters.Ф

УThe series won't end in Kingdom Hearts 3, more like the conclusion of the Xehanort saga.Ф

УIt's not the case that when Sora's story is over another hero's story will begin; Sora will be the hero until the end.Ф

As you can see, Kigdom Hearts 3 doesn't even have a tentative release date and Nomura is still not ready to reveal what platform KH3 will appear on.

We'll likely learn more about the future of the Kingdom Hearts saga at E3. We'll have more then.
