News: Joey, do you like games about gladiators?

Sega has announced that High Voltage Software's Wii fighter Tournament of Legends will be slightly delayed. The game, which was originally scheduled for May, will now be available on store shelves on July 6 (and the boxart you'll need to look for on those store shelves can be seen to the left). But there's a silver lining to this bad news as Sega has also announced the game will retail for the wallet-friendly price of $29.99.

Powered by the same Quantum 3 engine last seen in High Voltage's The Conduit, Tournament of Legends will include a ton of mythological action:

The Wii exclusive weapon and magic based 3D-fight game Tournament of Legends features epic battles in fantastic fighting arenas where they will wield mythical blade weapons, launch 40 magic attacks, and dodge giant mythological creatures that protect the battle lairs. In intense one and two-player fights, players master a range of character and weapon based magic attacks; including unleashing, amongst others, a man-eating lion, Jupiter's Storm, Thor's Fury and a nest of venomous snakes.

Sega wants gamers to get a good look at all the fancy graphical effects in their upcoming battle of the gods, so they've also released this brand new trailer:
