News: New PS3, Xbox 360 demos detailed.
The Blur multiplayer beta on the Xbox 360 was previously invitation only, but today, Activision has opened it up to everyone. All Xbox Live gamers will be able to download the demo and get a taste of what the online racing modes in Bizarre Creations' latest creation will be like. While the invitations weren't hard to come by, if they've alluded you until now the demo version of Blur is definitely worth a look.
In other demo news, Electronic Arts will be uploading a small taste of Skate 3 onto the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on April 15. The demo will appear almost a month ahead of the game's May 11 release date on the PS3 and Xbox 360 while giving gamer's an early look at the game's University District:
The demo will give players a taste of the University District in the all-new skater's paradise of Port Carverton. Players will shred through a series of single and multiplayer challenges including Domination, Own the Lot, and the bone-crushing Hall of Meat.
In addition to the modes and challenges, players can learn the ropes or perfect their skills in the all-new Skate.School featuring Coach Frank. Gamers can also sample the all-new object dropper by using 24 different items to tweak and alter the University District to create a personalized demo experience. Once players have that perfect trick nailed, they can capture the moment with the in-game Replay Editor and upload footage of themselves with the Skate series' immensely popular Skate.Reel.
We'll have more soon.
