News: Nikola Tesla to the rescue!
Capcom's DSiWare Dark Void prequel, Dark Void Zero, was also said to be coming to the PC and iPhone when the game was announced. Today, Capcom revealed that the game will be available to download from the iTunes App Store and on Valve's Steam service on April 12. The iPhone version will be priced at $2.99 while the PC version will carry a $5 price tag.
Just like the DSiWare version, the game will star Rusty, "warrior test pilot" and famed inventor Nikola Tesla as they fight the Watchers in the Void:
In this critically acclaimed 8-bit re-imagining of the Dark Void console release, you play as Rusty, warrior test-pilot and Nikola Tesla's trusted friend. With the help of your state-of-the-art rocket pack, blast through three deliciously retro levels of baddies in your quest to close Portal X and save the human race!
In addition to being a faithful port of the DSiWare original (complete with a score by famed "Battlestar Galactica" composer Bear McCreary), the PC and iPhone versions will include an exclusive secret ending and iPhone/Steam-exclusive achievements.
We'll have more soon.
