News: But Capcom totally leaves the door open for Super Street Fighter IV Turbo.

Capcom's Yoshinori Ono has told Official Xbox Magazine UK (via CVG) that Super Street Fighter IV will be the last game to carry the "Street Fighter IV" name.

"I have no intention of carrying on Street Fighter IV into Hyper Street Fighter IV or Ultra Street Fighter IV, because I'm aware of the mistakes Capcom has made in the past," Ono explains.

Notice that he totally leaves the door open for Super Street Fighter IV Turbo!

All joking aside, while Capcom doesn't have any plans for more SF4-branded games, Ono hasn't ruled out the possibility of DLC updates coming to Super Street Fighter IV in 2011

"Obviously there can be updates via DLC so perhaps in 2011, we could upload a patch for Super Street Fighter IV 2011 edition that would have tuning and balancing. But as a packaged product, I think this is the last."

We'll have more soon.
