News: But will it star Fox Mulder in a dress?
Microsoft has announced that the moody chills of Alan Wake will spill over into a live action prequel titled "Bright Falls". The six-part episodic series will be available to download on Xbox Live (and through BrightFalls.com) ahead of the game's May 18 release.
Looking to emulate David Lynch's spooky "Twin Peaks," Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download the first two episodes of "Bright Falls" on April 25. Silver members will be able to download them the following day while the rest of the world will get their chance to view the initial episodes of the series via
BrightFalls.com on April 27.
A new episode will be released every week until May 17, when Microsoft will release the double-length finale.
"Bright Falls" was shot on location in Oregon and was directed by Philip Van, an award-winning director of short films. The series will star Tom Noonan, who was most recently seen on FX's "Damages," and Cooper Huckabee, who has a recurring role on HBO's "True Blood."
We'll have more soon.
