News: Boat-based horror game is XBLA-exclusive no more.

Even though Hydrophobia is being published on the Xbox Live Arcade by Microsoft, developer Dark Energy Digital has promised that a version will make it to the PlayStation 3 eventually.

Dark Energy's Rob Hewson, Pete Jones and Deborah Jones spilled the beans after appearing on the most recent edition of the GameHounds podcast:

GameHounds: Will there be a version for PS3?

Dark Energy Digital: Yes, there will be.

And to prove that, the company posted the following message to their Twitter account today:

Fear not! Hydrophobia will one day make a Splash onto PS3! First mentioned in Gamehounds Podcast and now on Joystiq

We'll have more soon.
