News: You'll never guess who the "Master" of the list is.

The Gamer's Edition of the Guinness World Records book has compiled a list of the Top 50 Videogame Series and the Halo series came out on top.
How could this happen, you ask? Well, instead of measuring sales figures or review scores or even asking a variety of video game experts to weigh in, the people at Guinness went straight to gaming community. They posted a poll on their website last year during the eight-month period of January through August and over 13,000 gamers responded.
Normally, a poll like this voted on by gamers would pretty much be non-news, but the Guinness list is so strange it almost has to be examined.
Some of the weirdness includes the abnormally high ranking of the
Guitar Hero series (#4) and the abnormally low ranking for the
Mario Kart series (#47). There's also the baffling inclusion of
Lego Batman, which has only had one game, and thus, is not a "series."
