News: And get your chance to have your own one-liner included in the game.
EA Sports has announced that the original voice of NBA Jam, Tim Kitzrow, will once again step behind the mic for the Wii reboot, available this Fall.
Kitzrow will be bringing his signarture calls, including "Boom-Shaka-Laka!" and "He's on fire!", to the new NBA Jam, but EA is also asking fans to come up with their one-liners. And the top four phrases will make it into the game, courtesy of Kitzrow's unique voice.
If you think you've got what it takes to top "Boom-Shake-Laka!", EA wants you to visit the game's
Facebook page and click on the Boomshakalaka tab. There, you'll enter your one-liner, which will be reviewed by the NBA Jam team at EA Canada. 64 finalists will then be entered into a winner-take-all tournament where the fans will decide the final four phrases that will make it into the game.
