News: Lufia comes to the DS this Fall.

Natsume has announced that the Lufia series will be the making the jump to the DS this Fall with Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals. Curse of the Sinistrals is an action RPG that'll include six playable characters, each with their own special abilities and attacks. It is also a reimagined version of Lufia II and uses that Super NES game as a starting point:

The Sinistrals, the four legendary harbingers of doom, are out to resurrect the ultimate evil and bring the world to its knees. It's up to the fiery monster hunter Maxim and his eclectic band of adventurers to put a stop to them once and for all. Their adventures will take them across an expansive world packed with dangerous enemies, powerful items, and diabolical puzzles!

Natsume plans to showcase the game at this year's E3 Expo.

"We're elated that the beloved Lufia series will be making its triumphant return with Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals later this year" said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume. "We know players are going to be excited about this title when they get their first peek at it at E3 next month."

We'll have more soon.
