News: Explore The Underground in the de Blob sequel.
THQ's sequel to de Blob, de Blob: The Underground, will be revealed in the next issue of Nintendo Power. According to the magazine's official website, the July issue will go on sale June 8.
THQ plans to showcase the sequel during this this year's E3 expo (which will begin a week later on June 15), but the Nintendo Power preview will give gamers a first taste of the game's "new moves, new foes, new 2-D platforming segments, and two-player action."
De Blob: The Underground is on track for a Spring 2011 release on the DS (developed by Halfbrick) and the Wii (developed by the original de Blob team at Blue Tongue).
