News: Battle vs Chess goes for checkmate at E3.
SouthPeak Interactive will have a trio of games on hand at this year's E3 Expo, which runs June 15-17. They include the action RPG sequel Two Worlds II, the off-road racer Nail'd and the chess battlin' of Battle vs. Chess.
More details on all of the games can be found below.
Two Worlds II
Building on the storyline from the first installment, Two Worlds II offers the willing adventurer the thrilling experience of a perilous and daring journey throughout a vast magical land. While undoubtedly rich in story, detail and content, the game also offers an array of unique approaches to classic game elements that push the envelope for the fantasy RPG genre.
Featuring the all-new GRACE game engine, Two Worlds II seeks to offer an immersive blend of two of the most important role playing elements - strong atmosphere and dazzling visuals. Incorporating cutting-edge technology features such as Real Eye Adaptation, HD Dynamic Motion Capture, and Multi-Source Dynamic Lighting, the world of Antaloor comes alive like never before as a true role-player's paradise.

Nail'd
Nail'd, developed by Techland, is all about eschewing boring realism for over the top arcade fun. It's a racer that challenges everything from player reflexes to the rules of physics. Riding on ATVs and motocross bikes with powerful boost controls, players will race down near-vertical courses of incredible jumps, stunts and obstacles. The brutal challenge of the Yosemite National Park is but one of the many places they'll learn the meaning of verticality.
Nail'd's single-player campaign features multiple configurable modes and races including Tournament, Time Attack and Quick Event. The multi-player mode allows players to compete head to head in a range of race-types locally or online. Earned points will determine a player's position on leader boards. Based on the player's performance and ability to pull off stunning feats of speed and glory during each race, they'll unlock exciting new components to customize their vehicle.

Battle vs. Chess
In Battle vs. Chess, The traditional white and black armies have evolved into an army of light with their brave knights in shining armor, pitted against the wicked dark army of demons and beastly golems. Each piece is intricately animated and as players move them around the board they spring into life, ready to wage war. If a square is occupied by an enemy unit, they enter into a brutal clash that sees the foe removed from the board in bloody combat.
Another evolutionary element Battle vs Chess brings to the arena is the addition of the optional Action Mode. If selected, instead of entering a scripted animation when attacking, players challenge their opponent in a beat-Сem-up style encounter. Using a variety of weapons, fighting techniques and combos, players must best their opponent in a fast-paced flurry of blows and special moves Цadding a whole new meaning to the phrase 'checkmate.'
