News: It's set in San Francisco and stars an old friend.

Ubisoft has launched an E3 teaser site for their reboot of the Driver series at driver.us.ubi.com/teaser.

The site includes a live-action trailer remaking the tutorial mission from the first Driver game, which was released on the PSone in 1999. A shot of a a San Francisco 49ers keychain makes it likely that players will return to the streets of San Francisco in the currently untitled next Driver.

A little more information on the game can be gleaned by visiting the game's Facebook page. There, a click of the "Like" button reveals an extended that unmasks the main character of Driver 5 as Officer John Tanner, who was also the main character of the first three Driver games.

Ubisoft plans to reveal more about the next Driver game during the E3 press conference, which is scheduled for a week from today.
