Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the creator of Rez, is back with another musical light show shooter. Developed by his Q Entertainment studio, Child of Eden will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (with Kinect support) in early 2011. More than just a Tron-like battle inside a computer, Child of Eden (which was also the name of the AI from Rez) is about the battle to restore hope and peace:
Child of Eden thrusts the player into the center of a battle to save Project Lumi, a mission to reproduce a human personality inside Eden, the archive of all human memories. As the project nears completion, the archive is invaded by an unknown virus. The player's mission is to save Eden from the virus, restoring hope and peace.
