Top Ten iPhone/iPad Games (Week of 7/5/10) @ Gaming Target

News: Celebrate Independence Day with the Angry Birds.

The holiday weekend has resulted in a complete shuffling of the bestseller lists for iPhone/iPad games.

During our weekly snapshot of what people are buying from the App Store, the Angry Birds remain on top of both iPhone lists (Best Selling and Top Grossing). It was followed by the most American game I know on both lists: The Oregon Trail. Rather appropriate for the 4th of July weekend. Both games were closely followed by Doodle God at number three and Pac-Man in the number four slot. The ghost-eating icon also took the top spot on the Top Grossing iPad Games list.

Speaking of icons, the iPhone/iPad adaptation of Robert Rodriguez's upcoming Predators debuted at number seven on the Top Grossing iPad Games chart. The alien hunters didn't hit their mark on the three other charts and perhaps that's why the iPhone/iPad adaptation is the only Predators video game in development.
