EA Sports has revealed to 1UP that gamers looking for a new dose of video game hoops should circle October 5 on their calendars. The publisher plans to release both NBA Elite 11 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) and NBA Jam (Wii) on that day.
EA has also unveiled the official boxart for NBA Jam (which you can see to the left), dropping the idea of a cover athlete and placing the iconic "En Fuego" basketball front and center.
With LeBron James signing with the Miami Heat last night, they'll surely be the two-man team to beat in NBA Jam with James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh forming a very formidable threesome.
