News: Glee gang goes to the games this Fall.
The biggest new show of the year will be making the jump to the Wii as Konami has announced they will be bringing Karaoke Revolution: Glee exclusively to Nintendo's console this Fall.
The game will feature 35 "chart-topping hits and tunes" from the show along with appearances by "the infamous Rachel Berry" (Lea Michele), "football star Finn Hudson" (Cory Monteith), "and the glee club's fearless leader, Will Schuester" (Matthew Morrison). Unlockables videos of some of the most memorables moments from Glee's first season will also be included.
"This partnership with Fox is very symbolic to us as we are thrilled to be the first to bring Glee to video game consoles," said Shinji Hirano, President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. "We plan to elevate the Karaoke Revolution franchise even further by giving fans a chance to pick up the mic and interact with their favorite characters, themes and music from one of the most popular television franchises to date."
"This is the kind of game that Glee fans, or 'Gleeks' as they're affectionately known, have been waiting for. We all know they've been singing along with their favorite characters during the show, now this game will let them rack up points in the process," said Gary Rosenfeld, Senior Vice President, New Media for Fox Consumer Products. "This partnership also reflects our on-going strategy to develop Glee as a long-term brand at retail."
