Electronic Arts and BioWare have pinned down a release date for their upcoming RPG Dragon Age II. The game will be available for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 8, 2011.
While that may feel like a tremendously long time away, the two companies have used the 2010 Gamescom expo in Germany to unveil the title's first trailer, which you can view right here:
Naturally, everyone is very excited for the sequel to one of 2009's biggest games. Mark Darrah, executive producer at BioWare, said: УThe Dragon Age franchise got off to a tremendous start. With Dragon Age 2, we are building on the outstanding RPG fundamentals the original delivered while taking the franchise in a new direction with faster, more responsive combat that will allow players to think like a general, but fight like a Spartan. We are giving the franchise's gameplay a shot of adrenaline. We can't wait to get the game in people's hands so they can feel the difference.Ф
