News: Price drops are so last generation.
Sony has used this year's Gamescom event to reveal that two new PlayStation 3 bundles are coming soon.
The 160GB model will replace the current 120GB model and be sold at the same price ($299.99). According to Sony, it's on trucks being shipped to retailers right now.
The 320GB bundle won't be available until September 19, but launching on the same day as the PlayStation Move will have its advantages. In addition to a massive hard drive, the bundle will come packed with one PlayStation Move motion controller, a PlayStation Eye camera, a copy of the Move-enabled Sports Champions and a bonus game demo disc (remember those?). The entire package will retail for $399.99.
We'll have more soon.
