News: Our long national nightmare is almost over.

While it seems like the PS3 version of Castle Crashers has been in development since the dark ages, The Behemoth has announced its ready to be released. Company co-founder Dan Paladin has used the PlayStation.Blog to announce that the game will finally be available to download through the PlayStation Network on August 31, less than two weeks from today!

Not only that, but Paladin has boasted that The Behemoth will be bringing a massive four-player Castle Crashers arcade cabinet to the Penny Arcade Expo (September 3-5) that will rival your memories of X-Men: The Arcade Game, Alien vs. Predator and The Simpsons: The Arcade Game.

We will definitely have more soon.
