News: Along with the next WWE game, MX vs ATV Alive and Warhammer: Space Marine.
THQ has revealed their upcoming slate of "core games" and it gives tentative release dates to a lot of the company's biggest franchises.
The schedule begins with a bit of a delay as Red Faction: Armageddon (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), which was previously scheduled for an early 2011 release, will now make its way to store shelves in May 2011. It'll be followed by MX vs ATV Alive in the Spring and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) in the Summer.
For the Fall, THQ has "the latest edition of Saints Row" (most likely
Saints Row 3) planned for a release as well as its yearly addition to the
WWE series of games (most likely
WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2012).
Finally,
UFC 2012 was listed on the schedule with a Winter 2012 release date.
One game missing from the list is
Darksiders 2. The sequel to THQ's surprise hit was revealed during a recent financial conference call, but it's unlikely to be released before Fall 2012.
We'll have more on all of THQ's future releases very soon.
