News: If you wait a week, a cheaper version of Final Fantasy XIV is right around the corner.



With the shadow of Halo: Reach still looming over game stores everywhere, the PC gets the spotlight in this week's new releases.

Strategy game developer extraordinaire Sid Meier will bring Civilization V to stores this week. It'll be joined by Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix's second attempt at a Final Fantasy-themed MMORPG, and the PC version of the surprise PS3 and Xbox 360 hit, Darksiders.

Also available this week will be a new entry in the popular Carnival Games series, New Carnival Games, which is being released for the DS and the Wii.
