News: Can an American release really be that far off?
The Wii re-release of Super Mario All-Stars continues its westward trek with the announcement that it'll be released in Europe on December 3.
The game will be released across the Atlantic as Super Mario All-Stars: 25th Anniversary Edition and contain the Super NES-enhanced versions of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. It'll also include all of the goodies that Nintendo plans to incorporate into the Japanese version. That means a special booklet detailing the full history of Super Mario and a Mario soundtrack CD containing tunes from the plumber's entire career.
An American release date has still yet to be announced, but I'd say it's almost a certainty at this point.
