News: Let's hope. Or else Sony will have a lot of angry PS3 owners on their hands.
Raise your hand if you knew it was too good to be true. Gran Turismo 5 has been delayed once again and it'll miss it's planned November 2 release date. But don't worry, according to Sony, it's still on track to be released before the end of 2010.
The publisher posted the news via their PlayStation.Blog, where they revealed the delay was due to Polyphony Digital's desire to make Gran Turismo 5 "perfect":
We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that Sony will keep their "Holiday 2010" promise for Gran Turismo 5. But wouldn't it absolutely blow your mind if its delayed into 2011 and Duke Nukem Forever beats it to store shelves?
We'll (hopefully) have more soon.
