Instead of a cool new announcement, it turned out to be a message board-based war between fans of Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Shao Khan, Mileena and Raiden. And Midway NetherRealm Studios plans to release a piece of "exclusive content" for the character that gets the most discussion.
But the developer has also unveiled a brand new trailer for the game, detailing the backstory of everyone's favorite avenging spectre, Scorpion. You can check it out right here:
