News: Ubisoft has big plans for 2010-2011.

Ubisoft has used their latest financial conference call to reveal a few changes to their 2010-2011 release schedule.

We'll start with the bad news as the publisher has pushed back Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Driver: San Francisco. Both games were previously planned for release during Ubisoft's fourth fiscal quarter (January - March 2011). They will now be released sometime during the company's 2011-12 fiscal year (which runs from April 2011 - March 2012).

Now the good news. European gamers are getting an HD compilation of the Prince of Persia Trilogy on the PS3 in a few days. Ubisoft has previously said that PoP fans in the US wouldn't get a chance to play the game, but now they've confirmed that each title in the trilogy will be released separately on the PlayStation Network. So brush up on your parkour skills as Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones will all be available on the download service sometime before the end of 2010.

Finally, the Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot talked a little about the future of the company's biggest franchise, Assassin's Creed. Guillemot confirmed a new title in the series will be released in 2011 saying "There will be something around Assassin's [next year]. That's all we can say."

While it's unknown if Guillemot was referring to Assassin's Creed III, the publisher has previously said that Assassin's Creed: Lost Legacy is on target for the 3DS next year.

Hopefully the publisher can say for sure soon.
