News: And the setting looks a little familiar. Almost like... modern... warfare...

Geoff Keighley, host of GameTrailers TV and the driving force behind Spike TV's Video Game Awards, has revealed the first two games that will be making their world premiere at this year's show.

Following up on last year's very short teaser trailer, Warner Bros. Interactive will shine the Bat-Signal a little brighter on next year's Batman: Arkham City.

The second world premiere comes from another big name in gaming, BioWare, and it promises to be a tease at their next project. Spike TV has posted a short preview of the premiere, which shows a new direction for BioWare as the game appears to take place in a modern warfare setting:

But we'll find out for sure what BioWare is cooking up during the 2010 Spike TV Video Game Awards telecast on Saturday, December 11.
