News: Earliest. Beta. Ever.

Bungie has launched a membership drive for their new Bungie Beta Tester program, giving players around the globe the chance to shape the future of their development efforts. But with Halo: Reach now available in stores, what exactly would you be beta testing? Why, the Activision-published, and still untitled, first game in Bungie's New Universe, of course.

Are you up to the challenge? All you need is a Bungie.net account and the following mission could be yours (not all who apply will be chosen):

In exchange, we're offering you the unique opportunity to help us continue making improvements to our playlists, features, and online communityЕand the potential to help us shape our glorious future.

In addition to playing the next Bungie game before anyone else, the developer promises a simple reward: world domination.

We'll hopefully have more on Bungie's New Universe soon.
