News: Good morning Vietnam!
The soldiers of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 plan to storm Vietnam in three weeks time with the release of the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam expansion.
PC gamers (who use Steam or the EA Store) will be able to get the first crack at the digital download on December 18. PS3/Xbox 360 owners will have to wait until December 21, when the expansion will come to the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and other PC download services.
The Vietnam expansion will add four new multiplayer maps to the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 package for a price of $14.99 (1200 Microsoft Points). According to EA, players will be able to take control of either a U.S. Marine or a member of the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) through "varied, hostile terrain."
If you can't wait that long for new maps, EA has also revealed that the DICE-developed VIP Map Pack 7 will be made available to download tomorrow, December 1. The free map pack (provided you registered your VIP code) will include reworked versions of fan favorites Oasis and Harvest Day from
Battlefield: Bad Company along with two additional maps.
We'll have more soon.
