Xbox 360, PS3 News: Rockstar Games gives us one final video preview of its highly-anticipated game in this LA Noire launch date trailer.

LA Noire launch trailer

LA Noire, Rockstar Games' hot new title for the Xbox 360 and PS3, is finally on store shelves tomorrow, May 17. While we finish interrogating its suspects and cracking the mysteries that surround them to bring you the LA Noire review, we take one last pre-release date look at the game in this gripping launch trailer.

There's no shortage of machine gunfire, suspenseful music and Irish accents in the minute-long video for this Team Bondi-developed cop drama. It aptly demos exciting gameplay and an intriguing plot. Of course, the video also features day-to-day minutia that doesn't sound appealing at all, from female NPC witnesses whining "You just don't get it!" to LAPD bosses reaming you for trying to do whatever it takes to bring in the bad guys. All in the day work for a straight cop on the beat, I guess.

This is the way we look at it: Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar Games' May 2010 blockbuster, had you performing the same stranger-tasked missions, which sounded like they'd be monotonous on paper at the time. But when we played the final product, we didn't mind running errands for Bonnie or skinning the hides of hundreds of wildlife in the game. We're thinking LA Noire will every bit as impressive, while being more PETA-friendly.

Stay tuned to Gaming Target for its immanent LA Noire review.
