SDCC Top 10: Even if Kinect Star Wars didn't impress you, this 320GB Xbox 360 R2D2 Kinect system will not fail. Release date: Before the end of the year.

R2-D2 Xbox 360 console bundle that comes with Kinect Star Wars

Star Wars: TOR still doesn't have a release date and we're still very unsure about the fate of the upcoming Kinect Star Wars, but there's no doubt that the new R2-D2 Xbox 360 console was the best part of Comic-Con 2011. Not only is this predominately blue-and-white system stylized to look like everyone's favorite Star Wars droid, it even makes R2's patented noises. So when you turn the console on and off, expect familiar custom beeping, buzzing and, hopefully, R2-D2 screaming sound effects.

Just in case you need a console that understands the binary language of moisture vaporators, this limited-edition R2-D2 Xbox 360 comes with a gold C-3PO themed wireless controller. It also packs in a 320GB hard drive and adds a white Kinect to the bundle, good for the two games that come with the system: Star Wars Kinect (like it or not) and Kinect Adventures (we like it). There's also supposed to be exclusive DLC, according to the official R2-D2 Xbox 360 spec sheet.

How much does the R2-D2 Xbox 360 console cost? $450 in the US and 350 GBP in Europe (equivalent to whopping $575 USD). The R2 console is available for pre-order from Amazon right now.
