News: Haven't played DiRT 3? Didn't download the Dirt 3 DLC? Can't wait for Dirt Showdown? Answering УYesФ to any of those questions requires reading this
Codemasters' Dirt racing series will begin its first lap in the arcade racing genre with Dirt: Showdown in May. But before that happens, the U.K. publisher is releasing an enhanced version of last year's Dirt 3. For $39.99, a copy of Dirt 3: Complete Edition will give you access to more than $30 of downloadable content in March. That's in addition to the 2011's off-road racing simulation; some serious savings if you decided to wait 10 months before picking up this well-reviewed game.
The Dirt 3 DLC is the same across the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and includes the following:
The Monte Carlo Rally Pack Ц eight breathtaking Rally stages featuring dramatic climbs, descents and hairpins of snowy mountain roads. Race through the Alps and conquer the legendary Col de Turini pass.
The X Games Asia Track Pack Ц four new routes set across two new tracks in Shibuya, the neon heart of central Tokyo, where spectacular mud-spattered Rallycross circuits weave beneath towering skyscrapers.
The Power and Glory Car Pack Ц stars five cars including the BMW M3 Rally, Lancia Delta S4, Ford Focus ST Rallycross, Scion tC and Chevrolet Camaro SSX Concept, each with a range of liveries.
The Mud and Guts Car Pack Ц features five cars available for single-player, split-screen and online multiplayer events. Race the Lancia Stratos, Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2, Citroыn C4 Rallycross, Saturn Sky and Ford Mustang GT, each with a range of liveries.
The Colin McRae Vision Charity Pack Ц access the Ford Escort Mk II, a 70s rally classic with five liveries.
The Ken Block Special Pack Ц features a customized and upgraded Ford Escort Mk II, an Open Class Rally car sporting a killer Ken Block livery.
The Mini Gymkhana Special Pack Ц access the mid-engined Mini Cooper S Gymkhana, customized and tuned to become an outrageously responsive Gymkhana car.
