Amazing Spider-Man Game News: Amazing Spider-Man trailer on YouTube explores the open-world of Manhattan, set to debut on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Amazing Spider-Man trailer NYC

The Amazing Spider-Man game looks, well, simply amazing in this new YouTube trailer that explores the open-world environment of Manhattan. That's actually the feature we're looking forward to the most from this soon-to-be-released Xbox 360, PS3 and PC game. Developer Beenox has finally jumped into sandbox gameplay with all six spider legs after producing the more straightforward action adventure games Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man: Edge of Time in years past.

In the case of The Amazing Spider-Man game, the camera is actually pulled closed toward Spider-Man. УIt actually gives you a much stronger sense of the velocity and speed,Ф says Executive Producer Brent Nicholas as the behind-the-scenes Amazing Spider-Man trailer uploaded to YouTube shows the wall-crawling superhero speedily webslinging through New York City. УMore than anything else, you get a sense of vertigo as you're leaping from the top of a skyscraper all the way down to the level close to the street.Ф

The Amazing Spider-Man was a lot of fun during our E3 demo and we're looking forward to playing the full game at the end of the month. The Amazing Spider-Man release date is June 26, a few days before the movie's release date. It'll also be out on Wii, 3DS and regular DS in addition to the aforementioned PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. We're pretty sure the video of Spider-Man slinging through NYC was from the latter systems, however, and none of the Nintendo machines. Sorry, Nintendo fans; maybe if there was a Wii U version of The Amazing Spider-Man, we'd buy it.
