LoL Season 3 News: Registration is open for League of Legends teams to enter the qualifying tournament, which has a starts date on Dec. 6.
The League of Legends season 3 championship series qualifier takes place in Los Angeles from January 7 - 9, but before that live stream start date, LoL championship hopefuls have to enter an online qualifying tournament.
Major League Gaming is hosting this League of Legends tournament online, and just opened up registration for up to 32 teams in North America. Teams that didn’t attend the 2012 North American regionals are eligible.
Registration for this League of Legends will close on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m. EST, and the qualifying tournament will subsequently run from Dec. 6 at 8 p.m until Dec. 20 at 8 p.m EST.
The grand prize includes two teams that receiving a fully paid trip to compete in the Riot Games season 3 qualifier. Of course, you have to be 17 years of age by Feb. 8, 2013.
The two winning teams will go up against 14 other teams in a battle for five spots in League of Legends season 3.
If you don’t register in time or don’t have a capable enough LoL team by the LoL qualifier start date, this League of Legends tournament will be streamed online by MLG starting Dec. 6.
