FF15 News: A game many thought might have been cancelled returns as Final Fantasy 15 and will be available only on next gen consoles.

Final Fantasy 15 on Xbox One and PS4

Final Fantasy Versus 13 was announced many years back and seemed to face an infinite number of delays. It was revealed during Sony’s press conference at E3 though that Final Fantasy Versus 13 has now become Final Fantasy 15. While the main concept, world and story continue to be developed as originally envisioned, the First Production Development Team has further improved Final Fantasy 15’s action, gameplay elements and graphic quality to match the technology of the Xbox One and PS4, as well as the expectations of players eagerly awaiting the game’s release.

The armed forces of Niflheim launch a devastating assault upon the Kingdom of Lucis, casting Crown Prince Noctis and his comrades out of their homes and into the fray. The engaging tale to follow draws audiences into an awe-inspiring world steeped in the rich storytelling traditions of Square Enix’s renowned First Production Development team.

To help celebrate this announcement, Square Enix has released the Final Fantasy 15 announcement trailer. Take a look at it and tell us what you think. Will you be picking up Final Fantasy 15 on Xbox One or PS4?
