Xbox One is coming out later this year and hopefully within the next couple of hours we will know an exact release date as Microsoft unveils more details at Gamescom. One thing we do know right now though is that Microsoft is trying to make your transition to Xbox One as seamless as possible.
If you buy a season pass for a game on Xbox 360 then you will automatically receive access to download the equivalent Xbox One Season Pass. Some of the biggest publishers, including Activision, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft are lined up for the Season Pass Guarantee program. You’ll be able to access exclusive season pass content on anticipated games like Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4, two titles that are on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
It should go without saying that Xbox Live members must own the same game on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One in order to receive Season Pass Guarantee benefits. What do you think about this latest revelation? What do you hope to hear from Microsoft at Gamescom? Tell us what you think below.
