Amazon buy 2 get 1 free sale on PS4 games beginning on November 12

PS4 News: Amazon is matching Target’s buy 2 get 1 free promotion on select PS4 games beginning on Tuesday morning, November 12.

PS4 is finally being released later this week for North American gamers and retailers are doing everything they can to get you into their stores. Target is currently running a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” deal on all games, including PS4 titles. The problem with some Target locations though is that games are being released throughout the week. At my local Target, Killzone and Knack aren’t being released until Friday but the third game I want is being released on Tuesday. Not to be outdone by their competition, Amazon has also revealed that they will match Target’s sale but only for a very limited time and with more restrictions.

Target’s sale is for all games, all platforms. Amazon’s sale deals exclusively with PS4 games and it has to come from Amazon’s list. The games that will be participating in Amazon’s PS4 sale include:

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition

Just Dance 2014

Amazon also notes that Call of Duty: Ghosts and Skylanders Swap Force Starter Packs are sold separately at the full price. This sale will begin Tuesday morning at 9am pacific, 12pm eastern. Supplies are limited so it is first come, first served and Amazon says they reserve the right to cancel the promotion at any time.

The way that you take advantage of this deal is add any three of the titles from the above list and begin to checkout. As you are in checkout enter the code “GR8TNESS” and, if done correctly, you should receive the three games you selected for the price of two games. The promo code can only be used once per customer and the delivery date of the games is dependent on the shipping method you choose so if you want these games on November 15 when the PS4 is released be sure to pick the correct shipping option. Additionally, you can only buy one of each title. You can not, for example, buy three copies of Knack.
